As an official Disney resort, guests here can meet characters on-site as well as benefit from early entry into the parks. Staying at a Disney hotel is like being in a bubble, it’s a fully immersive experience making the magic last around the clock and that’s certainly what you can expect at Newport Bay.

The hotel offers two heated swimming pools if you fancy a dip to break up your time in the parks, a 24 hour fitness centre if the 15,000 steps a day don’t quite cut it for you, or a hot tub and sauna if you prefer to relax at the end of a long day exploring. Free parking and charging stations for electric cars are also available on property.

This hotel is a slice of luxury with a high end budget, so bear this in mind when considering where to stay. There’s plenty more official Disney resorts offering some of the same perks at a fraction of the cost.

Start your engines! Considered the most budget friendly Disney resort, the Santa Fe hotel’s theme is based on Disney and Pixar’s Cars.

Located just off site, this option isn’t an official Disney resort, meaning there’s no character meets on-site or extra magic hours to enjoy. But don’t let this deter you.

This hotel offers a free of charge shuttle bus service to and from the parks all day, running from around an hour before the park opens each day, right up until midnight. These buses run every 20 minutes meaning it’s incredibly accessible and only around a 5-10 minute bus journey.

Offering a bed and breakfast service, this is a great find. Sourcing breakfast in theme parks can be tasking, and although there’s lots of options in the RER train station (located right outside the Disneyland entrance) for things like coffee, croissants and snacks, it’s an added expense plus, that’s priceless time that could be spent soaking up the magic in the parks or queuing for your favourite ride. If bed and breakfast is an option at your chosen hotel, we absolutely recommend you choose it.

Here’s one for the superhero fans. The theming in this hotel is indescribable, it really is 10/10. Previously known as Hotel New York, Disney has refurbished the hotel to transport you into a real life Marvel movie.

Re-Opening earlier this year and surrounded by scenes from Spiderman, plus numerous other Marvel favourites, it’s located just a 10 minute walk from the park entrance. With Disney Village on its doorstep, you can find plenty of places to eat such as Annette’s Diner, Earl of Sandwich, Rainforest Cafe and the good old Golden Arches of McDonalds.

Again, as a Disney resort, you can enjoy the perk of early park entry, as well as enjoying the hotel's amazing cocktail bar & on-site restaurant to sample some gorgeous foods - don’t be thinking you’ll need to settle for your standard theme park fodder at Disneyland!

Kick back with Woody and Jessie in this lively, wild-west themed hotel. Located around a 20 minute walk from the parks, you can also enjoy use of the free shuttle services to save your energy for once you’re inside Disneyland.

After a long day enjoying the rides and soaking up the parades, hit the hay in the air-conditioned rooms full to the brim with Toy Story theming. For extra practicality, choose a “Woody’s roundup” standard room to be located closer to the hotel facilities.

Classed as a more budget friendly Disney resort, you can still enjoy the perks of extra magic time without the quite so premium price tags that come with other Disney hotels.

This offers an all new holiday experience, just minutes away from Disneyland Paris. Les Village Nature offers a complete change of scenery from the Disney bubble you’ll live in during your time at the parks.

With great swimming facilities and lots of on-site amenities, it offers some fantastic alternatives if you’d prefer to balance your Disney trip with some other activists such as exploring their forest, visiting the on-site farm and much, much more.

A charming rural retreat surrounded by greenery, it’s located just 15 minutes away from Disneyland by car. Even though this is classed as an official Disney resort, it doesn’t offer free shuttle services, nor is it within walking distance, so bear in mind you would need to source your own transport to and from the parks with this accommodation.

Just 1.2 miles from Disneyland Paris, the Explorers Hotel is a great family-oriented hotel offering a free shuttle service to and from the parks, as well as an incredible indoor swimming area to enjoy when you’re not busy hanging out with Mickey and his pals.

Family rooms that can accommodate up to six guests are available at Explorers Hotel meaning there’s no need for larger families to spend money on more than one hotel room which makes a nice change!

A continental buffet style breakfast is included, or you can upgrade to a full English if you’re missing those home comforts to prepare you for a full day perusing the parks.

If you prefer self-catering when travelling with kids, this could be a great fit for your family. Stay City Marne-la-Vallee offers apartments and villas complete with fully equipped kitchens, comfortable living spaces and home comforts such as flat screen TV’s for some down time.

This is a great option for a little more space as opposed to bunking together in a hotel room. With the kitchen facilities, you can take advantage of preparing your own lunches and snacks to take into the parks. Not only is this a great money saving hack, but also time which can be better spent enjoying your must do rides or catching a show instead of waiting in line for some snacks to keep the kids energised and happy!

With an on-site heated pool, a nearby golf course and a games room, there’s plenty to do if you want to take a break from the Disney fun.

A boutique hotel offering the perfect location to discover the magic of Disney. This hotel hosts 152 spacious rooms, including the “XL Family Room” for up to eight guests! A fantastic find for bigger groups.

This hotel offers a great location just a five minute drive from Disneyland Paris, but equally provides a break from the non-stop Disney bubble which some guests may welcome.

Staying here you can make use of the on-site car park or benefit from the free shuttle service to and from the Disney parks, too.

Last but by no means least, if you prefer the sound of something more low key to dip your toe into Disney instead of experiencing the round the clock magic at one of its resorts, renting a local Airbnb property could be for you.

With plenty of local accommodation options on the site, properties sleep from two people up to larger groups of 10 plus, meaning you’ll be sure to find somewhere perfect for your travel group.

Make the most of the facilities with your own kitchen, and enjoy the space these properties offer in comparison to a family hotel room in most resorts.

One thing to bear in mind when choosing an option like this is transport. Free shuttle services are not available so sourcing your own method of getting to and from the Disney parks will be something you’ll need to think about. Renting a car isn’t essential when visiting Disneyland Paris but may be something to consider here.
